Tonight, in celebration of Midsummer's Eve, The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh will be open to the public after hours.

There will be Storytelling, Plant Routes Self-Guided Trails of Garden and Glasshouses, New Sculptures in Inverleith House and a concert by the Danish choir Naestved-Koret. No need to book and it is all free!

  2. Thanks for reminding me too... you are not going to believe this but today is out wedding day!
And for the first time we both forgot about it.
Must be the dark and cold weather...
Midsummer's Eve, what a loveley name for the longest day (That's how the Dutch call it)

  3. Dawn, Edinburgh is just getting into festival mode so there is a lot going on over the next two and a half months. The city is beginning to come alive after the long grey months of Winter (and Spring!)

Happy Anniversary, Marion! One year Douglas and I celebrated our anniversary only to be told the next day by my sister that our anniversary was not for another four days. We had to dig out our marriage certificate to check and my sister was right! Anyway, hope you are having a lovely day and the sun has been shining x
