Timeless

My own eyes are no more than scouts on a preliminary search, for the camera's eye may entirely change my idea.

  1. Did you go to this exhibition Lois?
I like black and white photography almost allways the best. The last picture of the girl looks amazingly contemporary...

  2. Yes, it was incredible. There is also a photograph in the exhibition of a woman called Elinore Stone taken in 1933. She has a shaved head and, like you said of the photo of his muse Charis, looks so contemporary. I have tried to find some information about the photo and the woman but so far I have found nothing. I was so intrigued by the photo.

  4. Yes, that's her. I find it incredible that this photo was taken in the 1930's. And thank you for this site. Browsing their archives should keep me busy today!

What a lovely way to spend your evening!
