Sabrina Meyns Jewellery

Drawing inspiration from the garden in late Summer and early Autumn, Sabrina Meyns creates detailed and intricate jewellery by combining her handmade paper with precious metals.

Handmade paper, dandelion seeds, silver and steel
I use my materials to reflect the delicate nature and ephemeral beauty of dying plants and seedpods. The gold and silver details represent the precious seed held in their fragile vessels, waiting to fall and grow. This choice of media best translates my fascination with translucency, fragility and the ephemeral beauty that exists in nature and presents the wearer/viewer with tangible expressions of this almost intangible beauty. - Sabrina Meyns
