A Hat and A Dress

Going green this time in a hat made from a Donegal Tweed and a wool/cotton mix dress in a Liberty of London print.

  1. At first sight I thought it was an African fabric...I'm wrong but with the turban inspiration behind the hat... anyway both dress and hat are awesome and the mix definitely has style!

  2. Thanks Lucie!

The fabric pattern is a bit wild but the colours are great. Quite a retro feel to this one too. I didn't match the pattern on the fabric when I was cutting this dress out...I prefer the randomness...The weight and feel (softness) of this fabric is gorgeous as it is a wool and cotton mix.

  6. The randomness of the pattern makes this dress extra special ... it is just beautiful. The red and blue specks in the hat's tweed is great too!

We are still living in a world of thick fog and my blog is still in the process of moving from one host to an other.
